Edwin C. Nevis (20 maggio 1926, Brooklyn, New York – 20 Maggio, 2011, Wellfleet, Massachusetts) è stato un terapeuta della Gestalt che ha identificato la gerarchia dei bisogni di Maslow e formulato una gerarchia dei bisogni per la cultura cinese e una modalità di classificazione in gerarchie di bisogni nelle diverse culture.
Ha co–fondato l’Istituto Gestalt di Cleveland e fondò la Gestalt International Study Center, ed è stato un membro della facoltà di gestione presso la Sloan School of Management del MIT.
